Guérison grew up playing classical violin, piano, guitar & singing and was invited on her first international tour with an orchestra when she was fourteen. She has since gone on to tour globally, arrange parts for and record with bands like Other Lives, Sleater-Kinney, Alexandra Savior, Whitney, Joseph, David Keenan, Y La Bamba & others.
Over the years, Mel has made it her goal to never stop learning and experimenting, whether it be learning new instruments, pushing the boundaries of recording and scoring, or different ways of emotionally interacting with the art and artists' lives that she gets to be a part of.
